Today at tech, it was the last day of cooking. We all made an Easter special, we made Easter biscuits!
C = Cup T = Tablespoon t = teaspoon
Ingredients:
-
1 C of flour
- 3 T of butter
- 2 T of sugar
- ½ C of sugar
- ¼ t of cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten
- Milk (optional)
- Extra flour for table
How long - 10 minutes
Method:
- Sift 1 C of flour into a large bowl (00:10)
- Add 3 T of butter and blend it with the flour (1:00)
- Pour the beaten egg into the the mixture and stir it with a knife (1:00)
- Add milk if needed (too much makes it soft and hard to make it)
- When ready, roll out the dough until it is big enough to make holes in it (1:00)
- Make holes around the rolled out dough using a mold that is circular (you can also make a bunny face or a design of an easter egg) (00:30)
- Put them on a baking tray and bake it on the temperature of 280 degree C with the mode on fan forced
- This will take 15 minutes to bake
Enjoy!
Great clarity in your instructions Shivay. I see that you have used a verb to start each point of your procedure. This also supports your readers in following your instructions. Well done.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Shivay,
ReplyDeleteIt's Ayesha here from Grey Main School in the Mamaku Hub. Those biscuits look amazing, and it's great that you made sure what the C-T-t meant. On the third step you wrote to pour the beaten egg into the mixture but you didn't write anything about it before so you should probably fix that. What did the biscuits taste like (if you got to eat them)?
