Technicraft Term 2 Week 7

At science, the year 8’s learnt about physical forces and chemical forces. Physical forces mean that you can break something or change something but it still remains the same for example when you break an egg it still remains an egg but in a different form and if you freeze water it is still water but in a solid stage.

The experiment was about chemical reaction. First vinegar was added to the bottle (balloons have to stretched) after that a funnel was on the mouth of the balloon and the baking soda was added inside it. (the next part was done outside) Next the balloon was wrapped around the mouth of the bottle and the balloon was tipped and the froth and foam started to rise and it blew the balloon with its carbon dioxide gas.

Try this experiment at home and see what happens when you do it!
